Last Friday, June 12th, the consortium of the Life 5REFRACT European project held its online follow-up meeting with the NEEMO and EASME. The meeting dealt with the progress made by each involved partner in each project block. The crucial importance to show the progress and relevant data achieved by means of the tests and trials performed with refractory materials is based on the following reasons: first, in order to inform EASME of the project progress as well as the potential for replication in various industrial sectors, but also to demonstrate, at this meeting which is one of the last ones before presenting the final report, that the indications and recommendations issued in the previous assessments were taken into account, which will make it easier for the project team to comply with all technical and dissemination requirements that are necessary for the final approval by the LIFE programme.
